Official Bio

Bobby Clark

Bobby Clark is an Indiana-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose music blends heartland rock, rockabilly, Americana, blues, and classic rock into something unmistakably his own. Raised near Evansville, Indiana, Clark's songwriting is rooted in Midwestern life — small towns, blue-collar experiences, and the kind of honest storytelling that doesn't flinch.

Clark's most celebrated accomplishment as a songwriter came when John Mellencamp recorded his song "Grandview" for the 2017 album Sad Clowns & Hillbillies, featuring Martina McBride. The placement brought national attention to Clark's voice as a writer and cemented his standing in the Americana and heartland rock community.

On stage, Bobby Clark is a force — equally at home as an acoustic solo performer or fronting a full band. His live show draws from decades of road experience across Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and beyond, delivering the same fire and soul whether the room holds fifty people or five thousand.

"Bobby Clark is doing what he does best: making great music. Hailing from the outskirts of Evansville, Indiana, he grew up in the belly of the heartland rock world and the songs live up to the lineage."

"This swamp-rocker (Grandview) was originally written in the early 1990s by John Mellencamp's cousin, Bobby Clark, who plays in a band in Indiana."
